What excavator coupler do I have?
The right coupler is crucial for ensuring that digging buckets, screening buckets, rippers, root rakes or other attachments fit your excavator or quick coupler.
At Heinz Baumaschinen, you will find attachments for various common coupler systems, including those compatible with systems from Lehnhoff MS and Verachtert CW.
How can I determine my excavator coupler?

Which measurements are needed?
Couplers compatible with Lehnhoff MS systems
For Lehnhoff MS system couplers, two measurements are required: the pin-Ø (A) and the inside width (B). Based on these measurements, the following couplers, among others, can be narrowed down:
- MS01
- MS03
- MS08
- MS10
- MS21
Couplers compatible with Verachtert CW systems
For Verachtert CW system couplers, three measurements are required:
- A – Pin-Ø: Diameter of the pin or coupler.
- B – Inside width: Clearance between the inner coupler surfaces.
- C – Center distance: Distance from the center of the front coupler to the center of the rear coupler (center–center).
With these measurements, common CW couplers such as CW05, CW10, and the CW20, CW30, and CW40 coupler groups can be narrowed down.
Important: CW20, CW30, and CW40 can have the same connection dimensions. The narrow S-versions CW20S, CW30S, and CW40S can also have the same connection dimensions among themselves. Therefore, the exact size cannot always be determined solely by the connection dimensions. Additionally, the excavator class, version, and coupler shape should be considered.

Why should I check the coupler before ordering?
The excavator's designation or model alone is not always sufficient to clearly identify the mounted coupler. Depending on the quick coupler, year of manufacture, or equipment, different couplers may be installed.
Therefore, we recommend measuring the coupler directly on the excavator or quick coupler before ordering and additionally comparing the coupler shape.

What can I do if I cannot clearly identify my coupler?
If you cannot clearly identify your coupler, we will be happy to help. It is best to send us photos of your coupler and the measured dimensions. This way, we can jointly determine which coupler system and which attachment fit your excavator.
